The May WordPress Melbourne meetup is on Wed 11 May 2011.

The following topics will be discussed:

Peter Wilson – Hosting Client Websites on a WordPress Multisite Network
Peter Wilson will be showing us how to use WordPress Multisite to host your client websites.

This reduces maintenance time because upgrading all of your client sites becomes almost as easy as upgrading it for one.

WordPress multisite was a popular topic at our March meetup, so come along and learn all about WordPress Multisite.

WordPress Q and A
The usual question and answer session where people can ask any WordPress-related questions.

We’ll then be visiting a local pub for some casual drinks and chit-chat.

When?

Where?

Hello James, not wanting to go on about it as I do understand we are looking for accessible venues, just wanted to mentioned I met three other people at a conference earlier this week who are very keen to be involved with the Melbourne group, however they share my challenge and can’t negotiate steps.

      Hi John,

We are definitely on the look out for a more accessible venue in the Melbourne CBD, however this is proving difficult given that we have no budget for venue hire.

Also, our sponsorship deal with Envato means that we are currently providing pizza during the meetups, and there are not many venues that let us bring our own food in.

If you (or anyone else) has any suggestions for a Melbourne CBD-based, wheelchair accessible, food friendly, WIFI-enabled venue then please let me know though.

      James
