Hey all,
In the lead up to WordCamp Melbourne 2011, we’re having a WordPress meetup this Wednesday the 9th of February at 6:30 PM at RMIT.
It will be in the RMIT Research Lounge:
Building 8, Level 5
RMIT City Campus (Swanston St)
This is where the meetup was held in October. Do note that it is not at OpenHub and not where the meetup was held in November in the downstairs room.
I’ll be giving a bit of an introduction and talking about what’s happening at WordCamp Melbourne with James.
I’m then going to give a little case study about the BuddyPress project I worked on for the New Zealand Defence Force.
Andrew Davis is going to give a presentation on using BackupBuddy and do a bit of a case study/interactive workshop, followed by an open-ended finish and a trip to the pub 🙂
If I can find it, I’ll be there as long as the no teasing the newbies rule is in place…
Sounds good Angus. We are definitely newbie friendly 🙂
